
Who I am
Chelsea Coichy is a news producer and turned multimedia journalist. She is an Ithaca College alum with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and a minor in Journalism. In addition to producing television, she has produced a number of short films, including Forever, which won Best Student Film at the American Golden Picture International Film Fest, and the documentary Hanandagá:nyahs: Town-Destroyer, which went on to win the Award of Distinction at Cayuga Film festival.
As an avid storyteller, Chelsea became a journalist with the desire to propel stories of people facing injustice into the spotlight, identify the problems behind the policies, and highlight the people pushing to make their communities a better place. Special interests include feature writing, nonfiction production, and video editing.
